Taking advantage of our air duct cleaning services just makes good sense!
Most people are now aware that indoor air quality is an issue of growing concern. The overall condition of your heating and cooling system plays a key role in your home’s indoor air quality. Over time, excessive amounts of dust mites, bacteria, pollen, pet dander and debris can building up in the system.
How do we clean your system?
At M & J, we use different equipment from our truck mount unit, which is designed for only cleaning air ducts. We use gas powered equipment, not electrical for a more thorough cleaning. Each vent return is cleaned, as well as around the furnace and blower area. Air duct cleaning is usually good for four to six years, but if you have allergies, it is best to clean more often.
We recommend that you purchase a new filter, so that we can install it after cleaning.
Do you have allergies or asthma?
Breathe easier and cough less by having the entire ventilation system cleaned and sanitized. Fungus, air pollution, cigarette smoke, pollen and bacteria could be a major source of your breathing issues from emphysema, asthma or allergies.
DRYER VENT CLEANING
Having your dryer vent system cleaned is necessary to remove lint and debris, and it optimizes operation of your dryer. We use gas–powered equipment (not electrical) to extract debris from both the inside and the outside of the opening for a more thorough cleaning.
As many as 15,000 homes a year catch fire due to poor air flow in the dryer ventilation system.
Avoid leaving your home while running the dryer.
Helpful Tip: Dryer sheets can clog and leave a film on your lint filter. Take two separate sheets of aluminum foil and scrunch each up in a ball and use instead. It can be used for up to one year, plus it works great and saves money!
